Default Not bad for an afternoon's work

For the past couple of weeks I have been working a little at a time preparing to lift the body, finally I could put it off no more. It was not as bad as I feared it might be. I learned a lot here form the forum, thanks for all of the tips. Now for a few pics of the results ( the work has just begun) :D

 That seems like such a monumental task

I have to replace a couple of U-joints and work on the headlights today, and I can barely get motivated to start that

Best of Luck!

Great job!
Want to do mine next ? Since you're an accomplished body remover :jester
I'd love to do a body off but a couple of reasons why I'm waiting
1. I dont have the room. I only have a one car garage.
2. $$$$. I'd tear everything apart and get it powder coated.
3. I dont think I could go that long without driving the old girl.

A man can dream.

The next house I purchase will have a big garage. :yesnod:

I figured that I have to take every advantage that I can. I keep that car at shop at my office so on the rare occasion when I have some free time I can play with it. The shop for our heavy equipment is definitely a plus. So far the work has been me by myself, even removing the body. Another plus is having another vette to ride while this one is being restored. Maybe one day I will get it back together.

Here Here. That is one monumental task. I also would love to do something like that. Maybe one of these days when I become rich and famous.
