Getting a cat isn't a bad idea, except for it walking on the car. My 67 coupe has never had a rodent problem. Thursday, family and I had gone to my parents for Thanksgiving and I have a 27 T roadster in their 3 car garage. I had started the car on Monday and let it warm up. Thursday my dad said he heard something nawing under the hood. I found about a gallon bucket of trash, seeds and things from the garage, wires chewed to hell and interior kick panel gone. This in 3 days. Cleaned the mess up and put a just-one-bite poison bar under the hood.Checked several hours later and it had been nibbled on. Set a rat trap and had the sucker within an hour. Left the bait and reset the trap. This was a pack rat and they are very destructive. Now to order wiring to get it going again. Nothing but money and time.
