Heater/AC Fan switch
My switch on the console will not turn the fan on/off any more. I can use a jumper on the resistors under the hood and the fan will work at all speeds as well as jump it at the relay and the fan will work.
Before I tear the console apart trying to find the problem......has anyone out there had this problem before and what did you do to fix it?........

I don't know about the 82 but on the 77 the switch is easily accesible by removing the driver's side tunnel cover. I had switch problems as well but found mine were because the connector had worked loose over 25 years.
