Clutch cross shaft
Hello to everyone. I was looking for help to assembling the clutch cross shaft on my 69 . My question is about the pivot stud and the end of the shaft that screws into the engine. Looking at the diagram in some of the vendors catalogs and there is a difference. One shows the felt seal at the end and another shows one seat at that end. I know that there are seats on the frame end but wondered what goes on the engine end?
The diagram cover quite a few years and perhaps the difference is year specific. I wondered what was correct for a 69, or if it makes a difference? Thanks in advance and take care.
