Installing lower radiator hose
HI all - any tips for installing the lower radiator hose? Is there any lubricant you can use to help get the hose to slide on to the radiator neck easier? I have some silicone spray lubricant...can I spray that on the radiator neck, or will that do harm to the hose or cooling system? Any other suggestions/tips?
Is my vette stock?? HAHA

dont use a lubricant, it will slide off when you tighten it up. I use the indian head shellac on all my hoses and it will act as a lubricant and harden once it dries. You dont have to use the Indian head but a good sealant will help it slide on easier

I just wet it with a tad of coolant. Slides right on, doesn't come off.
And yes, make sure your spring is in the hose, unless your running a stainless hose that is.
