When I cleaned up the engine I removed the rattling heat shields that covered the exhaust. Unfortunately I also removed the shields protecting the ignition wires. I kept the L brackets but the 4 small ones were corroded through so are trashed. The closest thing that I found is this kit from a '70: https://www.corvettecentral.com/c3-6...et-of-4-471146
They seem to have changed slightly in the following years, I assume due to the switch to HEI.
Does anyone know where I can find replacements for an '81?
I also have an 81 i removed my heat shields the heat tubes that go from the header up tp the carb, I cut them off pluged the holes with self taping screws and jb weld, this was only a temp. fix, then i rerouted my plug wires to keep them away from my headers, now some time this month i will be replacing the factory headers with hooker headers
