Edelbrock 8852 is the bolt in replacement for the 71-74 BB Corvettes
(I used an Edelbrock 8850 with a machined adapter to correct the length and pilot diameter) mainly because that's what I had available at the time

I have an Edelbrock on my small block. FWIW I am very happy with it. It was on there for more years than I can count with no problems. Then a few years ago I sent it back to Edelbrock when I had the engine out and they rebuilt it for me for a very reasonable fee.
I have a discontinued weiand TeamG on my sbc; was a factory second because big threaded 1/2" NPT top vertical port was thoroughly buggered up.
I didn't need the top port so heliarced a plate over it. Otherwise about a $175 pump at the time; $25 super deal for me.
