Sad day, $$$, Trans went bye bye
Question.... My trans went out on my 1980... I'm looking to go with a 4speed overdrive replacement and heard that the 2004R is a direct swap. is this correct? I also read/heard the 700R4 requires the drive shaft to be cut.
Question... Which would be the simplest to install? Least amount of modification... I have access to my father's 4 post lift and we plan on doing the swap on his lift.
Thanks for any tips or suggests u can give. :D
Oh... If anyone lives in the NO. VA area and is willing to help out with the swap in exchange for some lift time that would be cool! :D
