On the C-3, the only year they were a factory option was 1969. After 1969 sidepipes became a dealer addition option. A number of later year models, through 1975, had them put on at the dealer. In 1976 with the introduction of catalytic convertors the sidepipes dissappeared as a dealer installed option for new cars, but they could be purchased over the counter and installed on any year model C-3.

Factory sidepipes on a C3 were a one year only (1969) option and are pictured on the 69 vert in the upper left corner of the C3 forum. However, they can be added to any C3 from 68-82 since the chassis mounting holes were retained. Reproductions are very pricey so if you want them start saving the $$$$! :eek:
