My 82 has a unique problem wipers

My 82 wipers won’t work on any speed , but I can push the switch in to spray water and the wipers come on for three swipes and then go back off. Low speed does three swipes at low speed and high speed switch does it three swipes at high speeds.So to get home I had to push the button in every three swipes ...HELP

Sounds like your switch is dirty. Dust and crap gets behind the dash and coats the switches. pull it out, clean it, and i'll bet that fixes it

If not, just buy a new switch and install

I had the exact same thing this year, Checked the motor, the module in the back, wiring.... And then I sprayed good contact cleaner in the switch and it's been fine... Make sure ithe cleaner does not mess up plastic or paint, test it first... Mine is old and not available anymore...I just bought CRC brand and have been testing it on plastic here and there, so far so good,,,
