Default Gen2 lt1 swap

Found lots of pictures and noticed they all were using C4 lt1 accessories.

I do have some C4 accessories, but I've got some complete fbody LT1 engines as well. Was going to put one in my C3.. Any fitment issues with the fbody accessories or are guys using the C4 stuff just because it's Corvette ?

Thank you for responding!

Is there any modifications you had to do to the accessories or chassis for clearance? I do have accessories for a ybody LT1, I guess I'll change over.

I'm guessing maybe the low passenger side ac compressor would hit the control arm on the fbody accessories. Hmm.

Thanks!

With the f-body brackets, the AC compressor won't fit and even with an idler pulley instead of the compressor the belt interferes with the upper control arm.

Default Gen 2 LT1 into a 69 - not quite there yet

I thought this was doable, maybe have to abandon the A/C, but now I'm not so sure.

I thought I might shave a little off the bracket.

How is the belt going to route even if you get the bracket to clear?
