Can you spell " S N O W "
Pittsburgh is getting pounded as I write this. Every hiway and byway is creeping at 5-10 mph. I luv the white princess but I'm sure glad I have a JEEP. :yesnod:

Well atleast the weatherman looks like he was right this time. :cheers: The last few snows they forcasted never appeared. People around here are such idiots when the predict snow too, act like 3 inches will keep them snowed in for days :rolleyes:

I can not only spell SNOW, I can blow it, shovel it, make angles in it, get stuck in it but most pleasurable of all ride in it.
It started snowing here around Dec 1st and we have about 6 inches of it on the ground. It is early this year.

8-10 inches here in Maryland. Just about everything is shut down. I've got the day off too. The talking heads on local TV said that this is the first "real" snowfall that we've had around Baltimore for 3 years. Chuck

Started here about an hour ago. Less than an inch so far but they are predicting 6-8". Usually we get about the same as the DC & Philly area in a noreaster.

We already have a couple of inches. Expecting about 8. That pretty much shuts down everything here. Just went to the store, not bad if you take your time. But most people don't.

Enjoy it folks - we're only getting a couple here in MA (work) and a dusting in NH (home).
That reminds me - gotta pick up my free snowmobile project at a friends house soon.
Also reminds me of yesterday's drive in. Torch red C5 in the right lane.
As I approach him to pass with my smokin' V6 luxury car, I notice a little
snow sitting in the taillight coves. After a wizzed by, I look in the rearview - Arghhh.
The hood is covered with stuck-on icy snow !! New vette - no cover - no
garage - and winter in NH. Say bye-bye to that one in about 10 years.
BTW - the highways are white with salt right now.

4:00 PM. It's stopped, I have about 9 inches. Got done shovelling the driveway. Real pretty outside. In defense of the Mid Atlantic area where I live, we just don't have the snow removal equipment that out "brothers" to the north have. Significant snowfall down here is a major and rare event. Not enough equipment to remove the snow, AND, people just don't know how to drive in it. FUNNY to watch, especially for this Western PA boy who grew up driving in it. :) Chuck

We went on at 4:58 this morning and stayed on straight until 12:45 this afternoon. Imagine if it REALLY snowed :crazy:
