Don't need any tuning on it yet (shoot, the thing scares me the way it is ), but who knows, when and if I do, you'll be the guy I call... One of these days when I am up in NJ visiting my mom we'll have to get together!

Yeah the new shop is dead center in the middle of NJ. It's a great location since it's easy to get to from pretty much anywhere! (and you can get to both Atco & E-town within 40 minutes!

The Machine Shop should be completely up in the spring... complete with a clean room for engine assembly. Chris & Doug are building another (attached) building to house the facility. (and adding a more bays). Right now Doug is tucked in a corner doing heads & assembly. Which works out pretty well since he has the whole back of the shop.

The new shop kicks ****... plenty of room, tons of storage and lots of workbech space. I'll try and take some pics later this week.

Pat come on up when you get it done... We'll strap it down and see what the new motor puts down!!!

As far as that thing fitting... I know... it looks like it will rest pretty darn close to the hood. But.... I know we can order some different brackets and change it's position.
I guess you have to use a carb with mech. secondaries, right?
Which means I can´t use it on my Edelbrock Performer 750.....
I heared that there are problems with this setup to get the carb adjusted because it doesn´t have ambient air conditions - therefore a specail setup for the carb is required. There are some peaople who say it´s better to use the "old" roots type blowers or switch to FI.
What are your experiences with this setup and most important how much$?

I have no experience with this sucker as of yet. but I have heard some of the same things about getting the carb tuned properly as you have. I'll look into pricing and talk to the Vortech rep to get some more info in the next couple of weeks. I'll be sure to let you know what I find out!
