Default Front bumper width.....

the front bumper on my '72 is too wide on the ends of the fender wrap....about 1/5 inches from the glass, should be much closer......it is a replacement from many years ago....

SO, who makes one to fit??

I'll be watching this thread. I bought a repro bumper and after a year or so, installed it. The ends also stuck out to far from the body.

They're all a little bit different. I went through three with my local guy before we found one that was good enough. Don't get too excited you are going to get better than good enough. And what ever you do, don't try to pull the end of the bumper tight with the bolt set in the fiberglass. As I remember what I did was to set some steel sleeving in there bigger than the glass for the bolt to tighten against.

Right
driver side looks great, and if bumper was moved to driver side a bit, it would look MUCH BETTER than my install... mine is centered
with ~50% more opening on each side than you have on your pass side.....so who makes a decent bumper or all the all messed up like that and what is the proper measure from tip to tip/ends???
