Tire/Wheel Combo Questions
I currently have non-stock wheels on my 74. Am looking for suggestions and/or pictures of aftermarket wheels. Also, I believe the stock wheels are 15x8 with 4.75 bolt pattern, but what is the back spacing. What information do I need to know when ordering aftermarket wheels if going up in size to say a 16"? Is the speedometer reading affected when going to a larger wheel?

Stock backspacing on the 8" wide wheel is 4".
Going to a 16" wheel is fine, and will not affect your speedo readings assuming you keep the overall diameter of the tire the same. You increase the size of the wheel, but you run a narrower/low-profile tire...and this gives you the same diameter.
