Old Gas
I just changed the fuel tank in my new tow vehicle, now I have about 10 gallons of old gas to get rid of. I live in the city so dumping it on my property is out of the question, I also called the city I live in and they were of no help. The gas is a few years old, I recently bought the truck and it had been sitting for over 2 yrs.
anyone have any suggestions?

If it's clean dump it in any of your other vehicles. I have old gas and never had a problem. If you are worried slowly add it a few gallons at a time to an almost full tank of gas. It will dilute and mix just fine. In a few tankfulls it will be gone.

You can always do what my neighbor used to do when I was growing up. He had an old driveshaft -- with one end cut off -- sunk into the ground, with the open end up. He would pour a couple of quarts of gas into the pipe, then flip matches at it. When it caught, flame would shoot 50 feet or more up into the air....look good at night. Don't know what the neighbors or the local fire marshal would think....but you would be a hit with the kids in the neighborhood... :jester :jester

POur it around the house foundation, like old engine oil it kills termites...better than chlordane, I"m told.....
I know the EPA types will have a hissey fit, but HEY...it works!!!!
