Default Spring project, can’t wait!!

Borgeson steering box, global west control arms, new tie rods and idler arm, spreader bar (not pictured, hasn’t arrived yet). This is going on a 79 with worn out front suspension and steering. It should handle like a new car when I’m done.

I’ve done everything except the control arms. I replaced the bushings and ball joint in the stock arms. Feels much more positive.

I wish I could start now but the car is in storage for the winter. I'm in Minnesota, there's nothing worse than trying to work in an uninsulated freezing cold garage. For me, working in miserable conditions leads to hurried sloppy work and this needs to turn out perfect. Since I actually enjoy working on the car it gives me something to look forward too.

I hear ya, that's why I have a very efficient gas furnace in my shop! I enjoy the same winter weather you do.
