Great info on the cap, thanks. It looks like these covers are wrong design (cutouts) and overall condition not that great. Back to searching! Thanks again

is this a 1969 350/350? I need complete and factory correct photos of the engine. If you have these, can you please forward them to me?

The '69 350 covers were, according to the 6th (newest) judging guide were "...cast aluminum with ribbed tops. They are not highly polished but have as cast finish. There are two openings on the driver's (LH) side cover, the forward for the PCV and the rear one for the oil filler cap. The passenger's (RH) side has one opening for the air cleaner breathe inlet and a crossed-flag emblem toward the front."
I would suggest that if you are looking to have your car factory correct, you should purchase this guide from NCRS. It may not be perfect but it is loaded with excellent information. BTW- I was on the team that updated this edition so I truly believe it to be a valuable tool.
Hope this helps.
Jeff
I have one of the NCRS judging guides however I was wondering if you have a good color photo of a correct 350/350 engine that I could use as reference?

Thank you so much. I didn’t want to trust the google image gamble. Did all the 69’s have the chrome distributor cover?

Yes they did. This car is a triple black convertible side pipe car. She also has a 350/350 Black coupe side pipe with red leather interior very rare.

Just a small clarification- the only '69's that did not have the distributor shields were the L88 and ZL1 since they could not be ordered with a radio.

Default Early with metal shroud.

Bremquest;
Here's a couple of pix of my EARLY 69 L-46. This car was all 'performance' no gimmicks. No PS, No PB, Radio Delete, M-21. 36k miles. Distributor covers removed and etc....was autocrossed a bit back in the day.
Hope this helps.

ok,I found these (and purchased) on marketplace for $100, came off a 69 in someones garage that they are selling off due to a death. The owner had replaced the covers with after market and these were on the shelf. 3" cutouts but not the correct oil cap. What do you guys think? I feel like the notches are longer than the photos in this thread

Good find. Measure them as it is hard to tell from the pics. Also, the oil cap looks ok, but again hard to tell from pics.

The oil cap that was on there was close but no "S" rivet. the relief cutouts were correct size I believe but those notches where you bolt the cover on look longer? Either way its better than those cheapies that were on there
