I'm getting a noise transfer that sounds exactly like a bad transmission mount. My car has the factory 4 speed. I checked and it looks like my exhaust pipes (2 1/2") are touching the top of the cross member ports. I think my aftermarket trans mount may be a little too tall. It measures 1 3/4" tall when removed. My old one is long gone. Anybody here have an original trans mount that they could measure for me please?

Hey Rich, due to your excellent photo I dug back into my issue and was able to identify a manufacturing flaw in this aftermarket mount I purchased.
I will start a new thread to share my results.
