I modified the bracket & bolted the OE piece to it. I was then able to adjust the cable to where it needed to be.

Did you ever get a resolution on your throttle cable? I am going through the same issue right now and would like to know how you fixed it. I already had the bracket that you ordered from Amazon and it is putting too much of an S curve in my cable for my liking.

Never could get the existing bracket and stock cable to work. Bit the bullet and went with a Lokar set up. Looks good and is very adjustable. Took some work though, especially managing the alignment of the new cable to the pedal through the existing hole in the firewall, but once dialed in, it provided the best overall feel.

Has anyone tried just clipping off the end of the cable and attaching a new cable end from Summit?
