Hi Paul.
I need your help, you seem to come up with GM parts all the time, do you think you could find either of these items.
GM #14038209, LH,
GM #14038210, RH.
This is the hinges for the rear hatch on the 82CE
I know someone on the CF has been posting GM OEM parts suggestions, and I don't remember if it was you or someone else.
Let me know if you can help.

I telephoned our parts people yesterday. Unfortunately those hinges are GM discontinued. And the catalogues that I rely on to get down to nitty gritty details - Paragon and Dr. Rebuild - make no mention of them. You can search North American salvage yards through the site below if used units are an option.

Thanks Paul, I knew they were discontinued. but I was hoping that you might be able to find one of them. You know stuck somewhere in the back of someones stock room lying hidden all these years.

I may be wrong about this, but the GM parts search system does not reach down as far as the shelves in individual dealers. You have e-mail from me re a CE82 being parted out.
