$446 for Yukon Gears, talk about inflated prices. You may still find some US gears around but most are gone. I used a set of 336 last week from US Gear that I had on my shelf.
There are no new USA made gears on the market that I know of for the 63-79 vette now. A lot places have been reboxing US Gears for years and claiming they are their own but anyone who knows the logo knows otherwise.
Good luck, your rebuilder should have advised you last year so you would have had time to get them.

Thanks I agree and unfortunately, if he hadn't been in the hospital for about 6 mos. he probably would've known, but interestingly another well-known Corvette supplier who routinely rebuilds diff's was caught off-guard last week when I told him as well....so it's all over the map as to who knew and who didn't Clearly based on your post, you we were in the camp of the former and not the latter!
Regarding "anyone who knows the logo knows otherwise" - My research suggests it's a "G"inside a shield so it will be interesting to know if I come across a set perhaps boxed up in someone else's packaging....
GTR - aside the ridiculous upcharge on the Yukon's - when you run out of US Gear's will you use them? if not, why?
I have used Yukon years ago and didn't have any issues. Seems most suppliers are looking at Motive now. The prices on gears flipped the last few months. When I posted this to inform guys here the prices were about $300 give or take. No more I guess. I can't imagine anyone who is building corvette diff's would not have known about this, kind makes you wonder how well those diff's put together in the first place?
I still have US Gear on my shelf so those are what I will continue to use, when they're gone? well there's not much to choose from although I have heard rumors of some looking to get gears made again here but I put that next to the " I am going to make rag joints in the USA again as good as Saginaw"
A lot as changed the past 5 years and more will change in the next 5.
Sorry Guys.... didn't intentionally go radio silent, I took a trip the 20th thru 23rd of May to Indy attending the Mecum auction and then last week was that lovely snowball effect at work after one decides to take time off!
So here's the latest on my situation... I searched the forum the day I posted and saw Pewter-FRC had a set of 3:36's advertised as new GM for sale. I knew him as a reputable seller having bought parts from him before. Some close up photo's substantiated his story that these looked unused stamped as a matching set forged within a short window in 1971 and so I took a chance and pulled the trigger. Simultaneously, I did purchase a set of Yukon Gears from Summit as "Plan B" to the original unused GM set from CF. I received the Summit ordered Yukon gears the next morning after ordering them and also received the GM gears last Friday. I now have both sets in hand. My builder looked the original set over on Saturday, he too thinks these GM gears are unused and believes we can use them as long as he does not end up chasing his tail in his efforts to set them up properly.
He's having a medical day procedure tomorrow and then promised he'd been on this as soon as he's back on his feet possibly even this weekend! I have the rebuild kit from Tom's with all the Timken US bearings etc and both sets of gears. If Plan A works then I'll ship back the Yukon's still unopened to Summit and call it good and save a chunk of change given as you stated Gary how expensive these things are today!
Fingers crossed everything goes to plan and hoping I've dodged the bullet.
This gear obsolescence thing is really disappointing and very scary, but just a small indicator of bigger issues facing our hobby and beyond, but I'll try to stay off the soapbox and on point here.

If you have NOS Gm gears, which I would call unused old GM gears, then you should be good. They usually use a thicker shim set than US Gear but still within the range of shims in the master kit. Good luck with it, finding nos GM is harder then finding US Gear.
I am setting up a set of US Gear 336 for a 67 GTO now, they were hard to get as well.
I just purchased (long story) a set of 3.36 US Gears through "A1 Performance Products USA" and had them delivered "ɹǝpunuʍop"
according to the above website, they have 3 sets of 3.36 ratio left, at 270$ a set. (showed 4 set before i bought mine)
as they say - 1st in, best dressed........
Lol. I followed your link and bought a set of 3:36 gears as it said there were 3 sets left. Got an email later saying they have been discontinued and they would see if they could bet some Richmond gears for $200 extra bucks. I said no thank you.
Oh well.
I actually purchased mine back at end of February, but only just received then Wednesday this week.
To give me a good shipping rate to Australia, he sent them to their warehouse in England, they then got put into their stock by mistake.
Then the UK was shut for Covid, emails were not being answered etc and when they came back, nobody followed up my order.
It was only starting a Paypal dispute that it came to light to them and they were shipped over.
told you it was a long story
just checked and the website still says the same stock level
again sorry about the false hope,

I just got in a set of Motive 370 gears to see how they dial in. US Gears may still be found but expect to pay $450. I found a set of 411 thick for $450 across the country a month ago and they were the last on the shelf. All gear prices are up now as well. Those of you who listened last year and bought saved a lot and got good gears. I just setup a set of US gear 373's they dialed in perfectly as usual.
I don't have a diff to test the Motive in yet but will post once I do.
