Default Help with wheel fitment

Hey y’all , I hope everyone is safe . I’m looking at the Ridler 607 wheels . I was going to go with the 18x8 (4.5 backspacing, 0 offset) which I’m pretty sure fit if I’ve followed the threads correctly here . However I saw that they have an 18x9.5 available which would allow me to run a wider wheel . The downside however is that the backspacing is 5.5 and a 6mm offset and I have no clue if it’ll fit . Has anyone ran a similar wheel to the 18x9.5 with 5.5 backspacing ? I’ve read some have some haven’t just trying to get all my ducks lined up before I order.thanks I’m advance

I will be relocating the e brake cable to the top of trailing arm and removing the rear sway bar. If I have to order a shorter spring I guess I will as well . I currently have a composite spring

18 x 9.5" with 4.75" BS is ideal for Front / Rear. Same position as factory 15x8 with 4" BS. Just adds 3/4" to inner and outer width of the factory tire. Doesn't require any mods to the factory suspension on most cars.

My 78 I was able to keep rear sway bar, not move the e-brake and run same wheel front & rear.

Tire is 275 40R 18.

I have Ridler 650 18x8 with 4.5 backspacing on all 4 corners. The 18x9.5 will fit with the e-brake relocated. I really wanted the 18x9.5 on the rear, but it was to hard for me to relocate the e-brake. I went with 245/45/18 on front and 245/50/18 on rear.
