Starter options, '69 350
I have a '69 350/350 (now a 383 stroker). Although I want to maintain factory originality, I do not like the crank sound of the starter; sounds like a truck starting.
I am considering the Hi-Torque starter from Corvette Central.
Can anyone recommend a starter?

CVR 5323. Best mini starter out there......buy it and be done forever. Read the reviews.....I have installed 8 of them and not a shim in sight.

I went with a Powermaster 9526 on my big block build. It is real nice and has no issues turning things over. The only issue with some of the new starters is they do not have the R terminal on the solenoid.
