Trailing arm/rear spindle components
Im putting together a list of parts I’m going to need for when I pull the trigger on my coilover suspension kit.
Van Steel sells two options for their rear coilover kit — one with the spindle/hub assemblies (minus flange) and one without.
The one without is $1,230 cheaper than the one with the spindle/hub assembly complete on the trailing arms.
I’m wondering if there is a company that anyone could recommend that sells all of the necessary components for me to assemble the rear trailing arms myself (if it works out to be significantly less than the $1230 Van steel wants for them) and any special tools that may be needed for assembly.
if the cost for me to assemble them myself ends up being close to van steels price, I’ll just opt for the complete assembly, but if I have the opportunity to save a few hundred dollars I’d gladly do so lol
thanks!

This shortens the wheel base of the springs.
Not sure how this effects the ride.
Also I moved the rear spindles from the old trailing arms to the new ridetech arms. I had my rear spindles slip fit many years ago so I can do regular maintenance to the rear bearings for track days (no special tools to remove and re-install. This allowed me to move them very easily.

See post #4 for a good picture of the Ridetech design.
