I have a 76 350 with a/c and the heater control valve on the hose coming from the engine pukes antifreeze all over the floor once I turn off the engine. Bought a new valve thinking that was the problem but it still does it. Any suggestions? New valve
Step 1. clean everything up. get it clean and dry. start engine. let it idle and warm up. keep watching for the first drip. where is the leak??? is it coming out of the valve? is it leaking at a hose connection? once you can pin point the source of the leak. fixing it should be straight forward.

it is coming from the small hole that is in the valve itself. I thought maybe the diaphragm in the original valve had a leak the when the second one did the same thing I am stumped.
i would replace the valve as the work very well..AND install a shut off valve or two.. off in dead of summer...open all other times and use factory set up..
when you shut off engine vacuum lost and it opens i assume..so i do like shut offs in heat season..
