Installed new wiper linkage. Upon testing linkage is slightly bumping windshield on up and down stroke. Two thoughts. 1- grind linkage slightly. 2- alter wiper motor arm attachment slightly toward engine by bending. I think I need 1\16 “. Appreciate your thoughts? Bob

First thought is please fill in your profile or state what year.
Look at the adjustment procedure before doing anything, since cant tell year it may not apply. 1968-1972-corvette-wiper-arm-adjustment
And if it's a later year, there should be some adjustment where the linkage where it meets the ball on the wiper motor arm (slotted)
Grinding and bending should be the last option, once you find out what's actually wrong and that it can't be fixed "properly" then go ahead and start improvising

It’s a 69. I agree- on improvising last choice. I think I have the adjustments maxed out. But iam goin to sleep on it and see if I ca gain any clearance elsewhere. Thank you. And someone mentioned my profile - I will fill that out. Thanks for mentioning.
The issue is in the linkage- north and south- relative to your first picture. The bracket that goes on top has three sides and the back side is hitting the windshield.
