Once again, perhaps this is an early vs late 1969 issue.
I am trying to figure out if I have the wrong relay valve for my early build 1969 or need some type of bracket that I do not have.
The holes in the relay valve just don't line up with the three bolt holes in the headlight hood surround reinforcement. The 1969 AIM shows two bolts required (see picture) but I have three holes that would put the relay at an incorrect orientation. I am wondering if I am missing some type of bracket?
Just spoke to a friend with a similar car and was suggesting I may have an incorrect hood surround reinforcement. Does anyone know if there are different types. I would expect two holes not three. When I look at the aftermarket ones, they just list front header reinforcemnt bar metal that is supposed to be correct from 1968-1982
