Hi. Does anyone know how to connect the temperature control cable to the control unit? I found good illustration on: http://www.chicagocorvette.net/diagr...?d=2195&rc=134
but it is not detailed enough on how the end of the cable goes into the center of the lever, or what holds it. Any better instructions or pics, videos? Thanks
The procedure of installing the cable into the control head and adjustment can be found here LINK: http://repairs.willcoxcorvette.com/1...ent-procedure/
I suggest purchasing the Assembly Manual for your year.

Thanks for the link. I had seen that before. I'll figure it out. One more question. The end of the housing of the cable looks like it goes inserted into a cavity of sorts on the edge of the control unit. Is there a screw to insert and hold it firm in that slot? What type/size or just get one that fits? Thanks
Got that lower temperature control lever replaced and the cable installed. The end of the cable goes in easy enough. Just insert the round end into the open circle of the lever at an angle, then rotate to housing of the cable into the matching square cavity. There is a small round hole just above the cavity, looks like a screw hole but there is nothing to screw into. So I used a very thing tie strap, threaded it thru the hole and around that square to hold it tight in that cavity, then cut the tie strap end. Probably not designed to be installed that way, but it works great and no one will ever see it again. Thanks
