Hi, I have a 70 C3 and would like to know what is the relay(?) to the right(driverside) of the wiper motor? It's mounted to the firewall and has 3 blade connectors. One of the blades is broken. All 3 wires come out of a large harness. LITTLE FUSE is stamped on the mount.
What is it's function(s)? I have installed electric headlight openers and have removed the wiper door as well. Plan to buy a Long L88 hood. Thank you!
The TCS relay
Unless your restoring you probably don't want that anyway, it's an emissions thing that they used to basically run the engine hotter when it was first started. A lot were removed or made inoperative. Search TCS and there's a lot of info on the site. They were also different over the years (71 in particular) so make sure you're looking at the right info if you do want to get it back together

Thank you M. Car's not a restore. It's being built as a fun driver. Installed a Dart SHP 427 stroker that I assembled myself.. Looking to get all critical functions working. Appreciate the help.

Sounds great.
Consider If you remove items (maybe not that relay that's broken box them up and save them for down the road or offer them up to someone who is looking for original parts for a resto, Even those bolts or electrical connectors sometimes are not reproduced or are not very good and someone else would be glad to get a hold of an original set.
