Why is it so uncomfortable? Is the interior too small? Don't tell me you spent all that money & had all those headaches to find out you don't fit in the car when it's finished right???
 Sorry to see you selling your car so soon Steve. I really was hoping a chance to see your car.
One way to recoupe some money would be to make some video's of the car to sell, maybe like a shot behind the wheel so we can see what it's like to go down the road in the ultimate C3 :D !
If you don't sell it on e-bay, maybe you could somehow do a raffle. A limited number of tickets would sell quite quickly I would think. 1500 tickets @ $100ea would get you $150k back ;) . I just want a shot at the tickets before they sell out if you can go this route :smash: .
Sorry ti here this Steve,it was a hell of a saga and you promised to drive 8´s around my car  But its your car and your call . Please start another project soon
Sell lottery tickets to Corvette Forum members. 500 tickets for $200 or whatever works. I know that I'd be happy to buy one for a chance to win that thing, and I'm sure many other members feel the same way. You could be sure that it would find a good home. :)
I know what you are saying I have worn your shoes. Before I got my stomach by-pass I out grew my 59 vette 3 times. That and back surgery made it impossible to get in and out of her without causing more injury. That was my dream car, just re-evalueate your decision. I sold my 59 and now I regret it. But, life goes on I am currently working on my 75 roadster. "Good Luck" to in what ever decision you go with. BTW can you make a sound track of it running? I sure would like to hear it.
Sorry it didn't work out for you, Steve. You put your heart and soul into that car, and you did one helluva job!
You really should try to get it in the mags before you sell it, though. It will fetch a lot more money for you if it's 'famous'.
Best of luck!
:yesnod: :chevy :chevy :yesnod:
P.S.
I know it's a little late, but the Mid-Year has LOTS more interior room than the Shark. My '67 feels like you're sitting in a Cadillac or Olds- after driving the '79!
Good luck with the sale Steve. It's an awesome deal for anyone that can afford it. I sure wish I could!
I can definitely see why you're selling it. If you're anything like me, the research, planning, and anticipation is 9/10's of the fun, and when that ends it's time for a new project. Let someone else polish it every Sunday...
This is a damn shame Steve. The car is a reflection of your specific tastes (and insanity) and no new buyer is going to treat it like you would have. :(
Very sorry to hear this steve. it shocked me to see this thread since i havent been on the forum in a couple days. my first thought was DUH! "he's ready for a new project!" but, now as i understand the cicrumstances, i feel really bad for you. if i had the 150K id buy it in a split second. id just plan on taking out a couple plug wires so that i could sort-of handle it :D
your still going to have to hang arround CF so that we can all ask you the annoying questions about wheels, suspension, 522s, dual blower setups, custom fabrications, and bascially let you spend our money. :yesnod: i have gained a wealth of knowledge just reading about the car, so at the very least, you have educated us.:smash:
when do you plan to start on the TT777? :D get another vette, and stick arround. we like having you arround. merlin or no merlin.

:cry
Its sad to see a dream come to an end. Hopefully you don't get too much flak from the ricers and their Supras, Skylines, etc, that were goading you.
Here's another vote for putting in magazines, etc. It would be nice to have some magazine articles to remember it by.
In any case, good luck and hope to hear more updates on future projects.

Im going together to make a group powerball ticket purchase tonight. Jackpot is over 100 Million I think now. If we win, Steve, Ill buy the car outright from ya. You have my guarantee on this as a gentleman. :yesnod:
