Headlight Actuator Covers
I don't see how the covers come off. Are they difficult to change?

There aren't really covers for the actuators. The metal canisters are the actuators themselves. Repro units are available if you want to restore the gold cad plated appearance of them. Some people have had luck replating them, while some other replating vendors won't replate them due to the possibility of causing a failure of the inner seals due to contamination inside the actuator.

You straighten me out. I should not have used the word "covers", but had been looking at some stick-on chrome covers in a catalog. Tks. :)
