I just recently received my door panel replacement panels. I cheated out and got only the panels and not the installed trim. I removed my trim pieces to put on myself. When the came in there are no holes for anything. How have you all prepped it to add the trim. Thanks in advance for help.
I did the same thing. I removed the trim, very carefully straightened the pins on the back of the trim, then very carefully pushed them onto the door panel to make a mark, then made holes in the panel. Measure 6 times before making holes in the door panel, there is no going back. There might be little marks on the panel where the holes should be, but still measure.
Post a picture. The lock/unlock trim part can be painted to refresh it. It is more difficult to install. Make sure it is installed tight against the door panel, and the lock **** lines up.
