Muncie lube
My '69 muncie 4 spd calls for GL-4 75w90 gear lube which is very hard to find since most companies now only make GL-5 oils, which may or may not be bad of yellow metals, depending on who you believe. Recommendations are to avoid synthetics as they may be too slick. Weird huh, synthetic lubes/oils of most kinds are generally superior.
So, what are you guys using?
I'm in southern Ca. so cold temps aren't a problem, but the car has started shifting hard when hot lately, so I thought a lube change would be the first thing to do. Lube is 15+ yrs old.
