Yo Guy's.....IMPORTANT MESSAGE....from your friendly Moderator...

The truth is, they don't allow bashing of anybody here, not just vendors. If you start ranting and raving and calling plain ol' members names, the moderators will ask you to shut up just as quick. It's supposed to be a civil place, is all.

thanx forum censor!

What gives you the right to demand that vendors be made fun of and be belittled?

Now about that percentage thing...how low can you go before you get booted/banned? I mean, can you still have 1% and be on the boards? I think it would be kinda cool to be a 1%er. Sorta like living life on the edge. Would make you much more careful about what you posted too :D

I bash vendors on a regular basis! not really, theres only been a couple ive been un-happy with, and i always leave my feeling out of it. i explain what happend in a 3rd person perspective. i then say something along the lines of "If you want to know more detail, or how i was treated / specifics, IM or Email me. these no way you can get into that without bashing."
So what you are saying is "I bash because I care"
I'm still playing that MPEG you made :)

Corvette Forum is a too valuable a resource to give up lightly. The collective knowledge, experience, and opinions of the members mean you can get prompt answers to your questions.
The moderators do a great job. Although some discussions get a little :boxing , there is knowledge to be gained by ALL interested parties. The hallmark for a board has got to be civility. The moderators protect that civility - the board does not decend into chaos.
Civil treatment of members/vendors on CF is not a free speech issue. The WWW provides a variety of places to post whatever you want - You could even start your own web site: http://www.CorvetteVendorsThatGiveMeProblems.com
If you order enough parts/services, at some point, you are bound to have a problem. The vendor/customer just have to resolve that problem. Most vendors jealously their reputation. It doesn't mean that problems never happen - the parties just have to resolve the issue.
Some problems are the result of a VENDOR screw up. Some problems are the result of a CUSTOMER screw up. What if one board on CF was for Vendors to bash customers?? I am sure these vendors could relate bonehead stories about customers that  :mad     :U :bs :nopity
... well you get the picture.Corvette Forum is a too valuable a resource to give up lightly.
"I don't think that censorship is the goal of the moderators here. They do however, have an obligation to their customers (vendors) who subsidize this board which is otherwise free to you and me.
Often when people have a negative experience with a vendor, the tend to come here to rant and vent before they allow the vendor to rectify the problem. I'm sure that the forum owners do not want to support a bad vendor. If someone here has a problem with a vendor and they expect it to be handled with respect and civility, then that person should conduct themselves accordingly - that's all. "
I agree and would like to add that
George is just doing his job and the job he does is not an easy one.
Moderators cannot make everyone happy all the time on a forum.
And NO! I not kissing you know what, just a fact of forums like these.

I also appreciate their support of the forum as well as the effort put forth by the moderators...and I AM kissing butt :D I know I wouldn't want the job of moderator...I would have banned me ages ago for being disrespectful of the current crop of small block crate motors.
I don't go along with guys who consider the vendors as a "necessary evil". I think of them as a bonus, since, if I realize from reading a post on the forum that I need a certain part, I can just click on a vendor to the left and poof...I am there and the part is ordered.
On the digital video...it would have to be still shots. They are both in "storage mode" and not driveable :(

Memorial Day Weekend (Thurs-Sun)
National Corvette Museum, Baymont Hotel, Beech Bend Raceway
Hundreds of Corvette Forum members hanging out, socializing, having a great time.
we owe it to our friends here on the forum to warn them of this vendor.
I'm not just talking about the forum vender's but any vendor or even another member of the forum. And I don't mean a lot of swearing and getting vengeance just the facts of the problem and only after giving the vendor a fair chance to rectify the problem
