OK. Here's the deal, I've read many threads on this but I have not found the answers to these questions. I had more but found answers on older threads.....
1) How do I get this new dust boot onto my parking brake cable?

2) Where do I weld my bracket to relocate my parking brake cable? It feels like it is in a bind when I try to put it on top of the trailing arm. Is that what I should expect and not worry about it?

With the cable disconnected, pull it down under the t/a and up on the inside of the t/a and attach to the relocated cable fastener.

Local good Corvette shop did mine. They are still on the floor so I measured for you. 8-3/4" from center of T/A bushing to closest flat edge of cable bracket. I say closest because they angled it as in the pic in Mooser's link so the flat side points the cable to the caliper where the cable connects.
