im talking about the wiper turn signal lever, there’s a blue wire disconnected and I thought that that’s the reason my blinkers wouldn’t work

There is a metal spring clamp holding it in and is behind your passenger side map pocket. The Relay may look like this.
Circuit #16 is that purple wire.....
It is a standard flasher relay #224

ive always heard of the legendary flasher behind the passenger side and never found it. Guess I’ll dig deeper because I thought because my vette was an early model that I didn’t have that flasher.

Looking to my left.

Oh! I remember pulling out a random flasher in the birds nest of my center console before! And it was purple! So I flipped the little metal compartment.

Looking to my right.

😡 okay.. cramp, Cramp! damn stupid hard electric angles.. Where could it be?

FOUND IT!

Okay now we just take the hazard flasher out so I don’t have to go to oreillys..aaaand BOOM THEY WORK!

Just look out for my next thread about fixing my dead Speedometer and my tachometer that’s on cocaine soon. For now I think I’ll take an electrical break and bless my breaks, put some dot 3 and get her ready to go off to the shop

excuse me @bmotojoe but I took a look at the wiring diagram and I can’t find the reason that my blinkers and every seem to work fine but when I try and use my turn signals while my Headlights are on.. nothing happens. If I turn my headlights off, my turn signals work fine.

2 pink and white wires, when input the test light to them, it doesn’t flash BUT when I put the tester on the purple wire on the flasher it flashes, that made me want to follow both the white and pink wires through the diagram.

Both of them lead back to a fuse but all of them work except for the tiny gauge one.. the gauge lights still work which is why I’m confused on my it says the tiny fuse has no power but either way both of the wires lead back to a different fuse that have power

also my hazards work fine but only when the headlights are off

Do your front (ONLY) side marker lights flash when you use your turn signal Left Or Right?

Also, what bulbs did you install when you replaced your forward lamp harness?
Here is the bulb data and fuse and circuit breaker data for your 77

Something else I have found with both the 168 & 194 bulbs, the little wire that has a curl in it sometimes needs to be spread out from the glass a little to make a good contact.
This type bulb is used in your front and rear side marker lights and other areas.
Just something to keep in mind.
I have had my front turn signal lights act up and this what I did to fix it.

no, my side (fender) lights and grill lights both light up in the front. And as for the back the side fender lights and the break lights flash when I signal them but not when the headlights are on

Also would you happen to be prone to the idea of privet messaging me your number or some type of social media? It might help for more swift replies. Just a thought

Both your grill and front side marker lights flash L or R when the turn signals L or R are flashing.
Your rear side marker lights L or R do not flash when turn signal L or R lights are flashing, only the rear L or R tail light.
Check ALL your flasher relay part numbers. There are 2 & 4 bulb flasher relays.
Hazard Flasher Relay/Alarm Pulse Relay #552 4 bulb
Turn Signal Flasher Relay #224 2 bulb
Also need to know you have the correct bulbs in the front sockets after R&R of F.L.H.

These are the ones I have, the one on the right doesn’t even have the correct size pins do you have any suggestions on brands?

also I just cleaned off my original flasher and got some rust off of it, put it back in and the blinkers work but still not when the headlights are on. Only flash when the lights are off

Whatever brand you can find locally, Wagner brand is decent
And don't forget to check the numbers on EACH bulb in your new front harness. It's good to start with how your car was engineered.
These flasher relays have a little heater element inside opening and closing a set of contacts so having the correct bulbs is critical.
