I used 2002 Fbody FEA but if I recall correctly I had to pull the "stock" heater hose tubes out of the water pump and drill and tap for 90 degree fittings for clearance to the a-arm mounts.
Cagotzmann,
I do not know if this Holley Kit works with C2/3 LS conversions?
The "Relocated Lower" heater hose taps - show promise to be the answer?
The kit is not cheap, - - but does include A/C compressor, Alt., P/S Pump.
What are you going to use for the front accessories? I used vintage air kit it comes with a different water pump.
then you can use an ls1 thermostat housing mister gasket makes a swivel one. I got it from summit racing.
I used a straight tstat housing ny cbm. Seems every car fits slightly different. Another factor is whether you mount the engine further forward or rearward with your motor mounts.
I plugged the heater hose in/outlets and drilled and tapped the wp housing right above and added some fittings there to get them above the control arm. I also clearanced some of the lip around the bushing of the a arm to make me feel better.
some guys are running aftermarket a arms which gains some clearance.
See post #16 & #18 on my ls3 build thread for more information. Tstat housing part # is in last pic of needed. Also, I'm using holleys low type accessory brackets.
