Looking for some guidance
my vacuum gauge reads 15 to 17 coming out of the splitter 11 1/2 of the tank 11 out of the T 11 off of main hose at headlight actuator coming out of actuator barely moves off either port when putting headlight switch on and off so I'm guessing the actuator is bad
when I connect main front hose direct to the right and left headlight actuator they open and close but slowly
any help would be appreciate it
Pat
I believe Willcox has a tutorial on troubleshooting the headlight system. You don’t specify what year car you have, it could be loosing vacuum at the wiper door if applicable. Check for cracked hoses at each connector first, it’s the easiest. If the hoses are old, it’s probably wise to order a new set, after installing the hoses, you can start blocking each system/relay off until you get a component working. Think of the vacuum as an electrical system, with the actuators as relays. Also ensure the one way valve and splitter at the carb takeoff are working. Good Luck
