Default brake lights

Hey Folks,Recently bought a 1973 C3 for a project. It was used and abused and I'm trying to get it in shape.Currently I'm trying to get to the brake light switch. What do you have to do to access the switch?I need to adjust it so the lights come on a little sooner. Thanks for any advice.

First reserve a chiropractor appointment then crawl under the driver's side of the dash, You see it threaded into a bracket just below the brake pedal pivot shaft (#3 in picture)

Thanks, Yesterday I crawled under the dash as far as I could.I couldn't see the switch.Should I be able to see it without removing anything?Maybe I should remove the seat so I can maneuver a little better?

Yes, you do not need to remove anything to touch it or to remove it, just unplug it, unscrew the nut. (note the switch is made of plastic)

Yes, removing the seat will help tremendously. It's really not hard to get to. Of course I don't have AC so the duct may be in the way....I don't know.
