I make a lot of stuff myself. But these were worth the extra $80 and got them next day. My time is worth more than that... Global West was backorder, Summit had 10 set in stock last week, and $2.00 cheeper,,+ free shipping,,

My 68 smart strut poly bushings are gone on both ends. I am thinking of converting to heavy duty Heim joints instead of rubber or poly. Does anyone have experience with Heim joints? Do they require lubrication? I did not see a grease zerk on the item. Who has the best deals for smart struts? Ecklers came up on my search. Thanks. Mike

I just replaced mine, but I went with stock rubber. I did go with the heavier duty 75-82 rods instead of the skinnier 68-74 rods.

Look at these- Mine are greased internally in the tube-
really neat design and I was all in for $160

Richard454 your rear end looks show / collector quality!
I ordered a new strut rod kit with Heim joints. I also ordered a rear spring bolt kit with new grommets that has longer bolts to lower the rear end some. I always thought the rear sat about an inch higher than it should. Anyone have experience with adjusting ride height with these extra long (by. 2 inches) rear spring bolts?
