Hey Dave, do you have a bigger version of that pic? it is perfect for a calender!

would my sig pic work? if not i could e-mail one out!
A suggestion...6 months of big block Vettes and 6 months of small blocks. It'll sell better ;)

I really dont think it would matter. i plan on installing a BB fairly soon, but would you guess it had one? most would think its a SB because of its year. i think as long as the vette looks good, stock or custom, mild or radical its going to be a great calendar.
unless were talking about engine pics, which that is diffrent. im a big fan of EFI and tri-power. :yesnod:

Re: C3 Calender (Dep)
Guys I just have happened to saved the email from the website that put the calenders up a while back. It was more than a year ago though. You can choose which cars you want on it. I don`t know if they are still in business but the website is working. Check this link. I still think whoever started about us taking it to kinkos has a pretty good idea though. http://www.momentsoflight.com/cf/
It does say that they have suspended order taking for a while.
I think we have to make this a 68-82 only calender too. im a little biased. :D oh what the hell, well let a black/red 67 L 88 in. i would actually like to see a variety of calenders made. a 63-82 since underneath it all they were pretty much the same, a 68-82, a C1, and a 53-03. IMO
I disagree. Big blocks can be identified by the hoods (unless you plan on 12 pictures of the rear of the car ;). Trust me. Rat motor owners do NOT want to see 12 pictures of mouse-engine cars. Only workaround would be L-88 hoods with 427-454 emblems installed on mouse engine cars. Then we could live with the "don't ask-don't tell" :D

P.S. One other alternative is two series of calenders...one for big blocks and one for small blocks.
oh i know ways of telling its a BBC, i just figgure most people will like it bacause its a C3 BB or SB. i know you dont really like SBs, but i think there are a couple members that could sway your thinking. and you have to admit, you are a bit pickier about the vettes you like than most  :jester
Wait...don't get me in the middle of THAT again!!! :nono:
I like CERTAIN small blocks. As in the 302 Z-28 and that 327 "Fuel Injected Stingray" that our favorite music group sings about. I also like the motor in my C5...even though it's only a distant cousin of the original small blocks.
Yes...I am pickier. When I was a kid I was warned about picking stuff, but I ignored that advice then and I still do ;) i just think the calender would sell better if we had an even mix of big blocks and small blocks. Otherwise, it would be like a calender of taxicabs where all the difference you saw was paint and maybe wheels. And we certainly want some shots with the hood up!!

  your a crazy guy dep! personally i dont care if its big block or small block because im not driving it. as long as its purdy, ill stare at it :D
Sniff sniff...do I smell a big block crate motor in your future? I see a change in your info under your name. 8.1 Litre?? That's AWFUL big for a mouse. Maybe a rat? Hehehe :D
maaaaan ive wanted a big block since i was 16. ive always had a love for 427s, but i have an opportunity to get a low mileage '01+ EFI 496 for under $1000. just needs rings/rods(dpeding on which one i can get) i am neither a mouse nut or a rat nut. im just a nut  i like all chevy V8s. you can get bigger power easier from the big 'uns, and you can get good power cheaper (to a point) with the small 'uns. hell even some of the small ones are bigger than the big ones! the only V8 i truly hate is the 305, and more specifically the LG4. i have seen some 305s putting out great numbers, but for the money, give me a 350. that LG4 i had scared me for life. 140 pittiful brake HP, i had to go in reverse, hit the clutch, throw it in 1st, rev to 5000 and drop the clutch to do a burnout. what a @#$% engine.
You might try CSP Corvette Calendars Alice Richter puts out a calendar every year that sells for $12.95. She might be able to throw something together with our pics. http://www.corvettecalendar.com/
Here is the pic of my car as the December 99 Calendar Girl.
