Default 72 vette forward wire harness mounting

Hi All C3ers,

Q: Does anyone know where and how the forward wire harness was attached to the core support and what type of clips were used? (72 Vette)

Thanks in advance to all who reply. Photos would be nice too!

On my '72 it's not attached to the core support at all, but on the header on the headlight panel. As I recall it's held by push-points taped into the wiring harness. I'll pop out to the garage and take a look.

You guys are amazing!

Had I paid more attention to the new harness during inspection, I probably would have seen the push in pins and figured it out. But, Since I was in too much of a hurry, I had to rely on the true experts in this field!!

BTW, Anyone heard from Alan?

Thank you all for your quick and right on reply to my quandary!!

You're welcome. Here are two pics showing the new Lectric Limited harness which has the same attachments as my old one. I stuck arrows to show where the pins are -- 2 on each side of the center point.
