Yes... it can be addictive. The C-3's are just prime for tinkering with since parts are so available. The one thing I can say about GM & the Corvette is that they take the same attitude as BMW does with their cars. Rarely do you see BMW make a compete makeover of a car line and when they do it is after 8-10 years of the same basic body design. That's why most of us find so many parts that say '68-'82. All of the aftermarket players will join in when there is that range of interchangable parts and a group of owners who are willing to sink money into them gives us choices.
I'd like to know what percentage of C-3's still have active registrations. I can't think of another American made car like the '68-'82 that has that range of years that is worth restoring. I am just talking about '68 on up. Granted there were alot of Mopar's until about '72 that pull alot of money these days, but I would bet it would cost a mint to restore one of those cars since the parts are not as available since Chrysler/Dodge did not keep the same basic design for 14 years.
