I need more clearance for the power steering pulley from the a-arm. (LS3 swap)
If I reverse the a-arm bolt like this, will this be a problem since the bolt can move freely, as where the original orientation the bolt didn't rotate or move in any direction.
I am thinking this will be ok since I can torque the connection properly and the a-arm isn't a perfect tight fit on the bolt. anyone done this and had problems ????

torque it up and use a self locking nut, i would say the bolt orientation was for ease of assembly, so you could torque the nut without trying to hold the bolt head.
It would be a bit more of a pain to do a regular alignment but since you're running the adjustable arms that's not an issue.
I can't tell from the picture but long as the shear point (where the arm meets the frame) isn't over the threaded part of the bolt then there's no difference which way it goes. That shear point should be on the solid shoulder of the bolt.
If not, look for a longer bolt and use a spacer behind the nut to take up the extra thread type of thing

Yes I think the shear point is at a thread spot, I will look for a different bolt so the shear point is solid.
