Default Angle or Straight heads -- need info. please.

Shopping for new heads and most offer angle or straight plug taps. Is one better than the other performance wise? Is header install and clearance a issue with one or the other?
Planning on Hedmans for a 80.

Generally the angle plug has a better flame travel and thus more performance. The problem comes into play when you install headers. With most headers you can have better access for plug changing with the straight plug pattern head.

What he said. I have angled plugs with my Trick Flow Alum heads and with dynomax headers it is a pain to change the #1 and 2 plugs but not impossible.
