Kick panel air vent adjustment procedure
I’m trying to adjust the vent **** and it’s not able to go the full throw before bottoming out. Is there a certain procedure to follow while adjusting the nylon (I think?) collar inline on the cable or is it just whatever feels good type thing?

More or less whatever works.
I just adjust it too far, close the lever and then start adjusting until the lever doesn't quite reach the end of the slot, you're trying to keep it from banging into the metal surround before the vent closes
