Default Help Confirming Wiring Near Firewall

1972 Vette with the 350 here.

I'm trying to determine why my reverse lights are not working right now (no current getting to the lights) and have been referencing my AIM and Haynes repair manual.

I've attached a few pictures of a group of plugs that have nothing going to them. A couple of them have actually melted together. I bought the car from a friend who had owned it for 15 years and did not ever do any work on it so I know the wiring work had to have been done by someone 15+ years ago.

I've got my own ideas as to what these are mostly for, but I'd like to get the community's help to make sure I'm not overlooking something...

dark green and either brown/white or black/white plug

light green plug

light green / dark blue plug

tan and black plug

On my 68 the reverse light wiring is pink and green. I’d imagine yours should be the same.

Manual or automatic? For your backup lights: If automatic, might check the neutral safety switch in the shifter console attached to the base of the shift lever, might be loose or need adjusting

It's the 4 speed manual. I am going a different direction figuring out that situation. Just wondering what these plugs were for.
