1969 Corvette 427 Muncie Spline count?
I did my due diligence and searched the forum for this. I'm doing a flywheel and clutch on a '69 427 Corvette with the Muncie. I want to make sure we order the right flywheel and clutch, as I don't have it out yet. My '74 has the 26 spline input and I'm running the Auto Gear M23 Rock Crusher. So my question is, if the transmission is the original Muncie, it should have the 10 spline input, correct? As they changed it to 26 spline in 1970, right? I don't want to get 50 pounds of parts to return. The original flywheel got chewed up on the outer ring gear and needs replacing and while we're there, we might as well put a McLeod Super Street Pro clutch in it too (and refresh the 85/90 with the Joe Gibbs GL4 Non-Syn gear oil). Appreciate your thoughts on this.
