timing
Thank you everyone for the response to my last question. I have another one. How do you hook up the timing light on a 77 . Since the battery is behind the seat and my clamps will not reach. What do you guys do?

Use caution with the alligator clip on the ALT. Note that there is a insulating washer behind the fastening nut / wire terminal.
